Welcome to Village Christian School
A Therapeutic Education Service Center (TESC)
Meet The Staff
Hello, and welcome to the Village Christian School (VCS) webpage!
My name is Matthew Almquist and I am the building principal. This is my first year as an administrator at VCS.
VCS shares a campus with Midwestern Children's Home on 167 acres. We serve students in the 7th-12th grade with a charter that allows 1st-12th. Village Christian is a Therapeutic Education Service Center (TESC), that serves students with academic, behavioral, and emotional needs. Our therapeutic educational setting enables us to provide differentiation for each student. VCS-TESC participates in annual state wide testing, as well as, NWEA MAP testing. VCS staff use results from MAP tests to accurately tailor lesson plans to meet each student's unique academic needs. VCS-TESC school hours are 8:10-2:30 daily.
Please take a moment to read the biographies of the staff employed by VCS below.
